Homeschooling for me is such a privilege. What an opportunity to instill in our children the values we hold dear while at the same time giving them an excellent education. It’s hard work but in the end I know it’s worth every moment of our time.
If you’re new to homeschooling there is a wealth of information available. My favorites are…
The Successful Homeschool Family Handbook by Raymond and Dorothy Moore (Dr. Moore and his wife were pioneers in the homeschooling movement.)
Teaching the Trivium by Harvey & Laurie Bluedorn (classical homeschooling in a Christian style)
The Original Homeschooling Series by Charlotte Mason
A Charlotte Mason Education by Catherine Levison
More Charlotte Education by Catherine Levison (this book and the one above offer to you a simple understanding of the Charlotte Mason method for today’s kids)
